Modern Classic

Bring simplicity and beauty to a classic design. Highlighted with a modern flair – this is the promise of modern classic decoration. The feeling is clean without overtly abundant curves or ornamentation and uses quality modern materials. The presentation is light, free and sophisticated with neutral and soft colours. This shows a complementary balance of symmetry and order. This design exhibits a timeless view that never loses its appeal.

Mid-Century Modern

Inspired by the 50’s and 60’s, this is the look of this again popular decor. Sleek lines, geometric shapes, abstract views are the hallmarks of mid-century modern. This is achieved through combining bold colours and earthy tones alongside of sumptuous fabrics including velvet, leather, metals and glass. Hollywood of the 1920s and 1930s “Tinseltown” are the dominant influences here. This is expressed with touches of art deco that are streamlined and sleek, with a introduction of curvy accents. Bold colours, glass, metallics and contrasts are the features of this style along with luxurious comfort that is truly appealing.

French Country

The beauty of this style is reflective of the rural French countryside and may be either be rustic or classic. The colours are neutral and warm with a soft, romantic feel of soft beige and gray. They are complemented with pale pink, golden yellow, gentle green or cornflower blue. Splashes of accent colours like warm red and mustard yellow along with creamy white prevail. Fabrics include toile, florals and tapestries with hints of farm animal motifs and soft patterns.

Windows can be adorned simply or with flagrantly sweeping draperies. Furniture is softly patterned with curves and rustic wood. This style is inviting, elegant and usable all at once. Living in the city you can still feel like you are in a small, quaint French village.

Contemporary

Contemporary style continues to be popular as it integrates into many interiors. The colour scheme is relatively neutral with usually one striking primary colour to bring distracting balance. The lines are rounded, but not overly curvy while shapes are softer and more approachable than other styles. Contemporary refers to “right now” and doesn’t limit its influences to a specific era.

Coastal

As the name implies, this look makes you feel like you are at or near a coastline. Whether it be mainland or tropical, it creates a feeling of relaxed contentment. All nautical influences are at work here with colours being white, navy blue and greenish hues. Decorative accent add a freshness and “openness of the sea” appeal.

Industrial

The ruggedness of this decor has at its center the feature of reclaimed and reworked materials. These often include iron, wood and a variety of metals. Pieces show a handcrafted and seemingly one-of-a-kind beauty that can readily be appreciated for their natural ambience.

The durability of this decor represents understated comfort with a feeling of stability. This is conveyed through neutral colours that display a commanding but casual presence.

Eclectic

This style is popular and has remained so as it allow the blending of time periods, colours and textures. The corner of this look allows for combination of current interpretations of style with influences from the past. You can mix curvy and straight lines with patterns and solids, all in a tasteful and well put together manner.

English Countryside

A cute reading nook and relaxed dining seating allow for and encourage interaction and conversation; these are hallmarks of English countryside decor. To bring this style to its true fruition, there needs to be potted plants and timeless ornamentation. Together with muted colours are used to inspire the English countryside.

The Rustic style is always popular with its relaxed but thoughtful display that includes southwestern, ranch and cabin references. A mix of rustic natural materials and colours are predominate. Tropical Allure

There are many perspectives on this look. It is expressed in a combination of materials in rattan, raffia and teak, highlighted with pale colours and light wallpaper. The idea here is to offset the heat of the tropics through invoking the feeling of freshness. The temperature may be quite high, but the mood is cool and breezy!

Traditional

This style has European influences and exhibits that “Old World Charm.” Furnishings are curvy, patterns are intricate. Materials are high quality wood and colours are dark brown, green, burgundy with a sophisticated finish. Traditional can exhibit a substantial presence or be delicate and nuanced.
